Villa Albertine is pleased to welcome acclaimed solo performance Euphrate, written and interpreted by Nil Bosca. For this special and unique performance, Nil Bosca will take the stage, offering a sparkling show, where dance and theater meet.
Synopsis
Daughter of a Turkish father and a Norman mother, Euphrate is a high school senior struggling with the education system. On top of her mediocre grades, she is soon expected to choose a career path, a real headache. This leads her to wonder how her dual heritage has shaped her identity. In a witty and humorous dialogue with her father, she embarks on a journey through her Turkish roots and childhood memories. Blending dance and spoken word, the show tells – with the freedom of a joyful body – the story of a young woman finding and affirming her own voice.
