It’s 1967 New York in the age of live television, and an aging silver screen legend is slated to appear on the top-rated late night sketch comedy show, the King Kiser Comedy Hour. A young writer (based on the life of Mel Brooks) is tasked with keeping her sober and on script for the broadcast, while comedy writer veterans navigate the tumultuous changes in American society during the burgeoning era of rock and roll, Vietnam, feminism and the youth revolution.
Directed and Adapted by Steve Rochlin.
