Villa Albertine presents an intimate concert featuring Paul Lay, one of France's most celebrated jazz pianists. Widely recognized by Le Monde as a leading musician of his generation, Lay brings his acclaimed artistry to La Maison Française for what promises to be an exceptional evening of music. Lay's impressive credentials speak to his mastery of the craft: he's the recipient of the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros (2014), the Prix Django Reinhardt from the Académie du Jazz, and was named Instrumental Artist of the Year at the Victoires du Jazz in 2020. His career spans international stages from New York to Tokyo, and he's known for his creative versatility as both composer and arranger, working at the crossroads of jazz, symphonic music, and multidisciplinary creation.
