Experience one of cinema's most influential films with a screening of Jean-Luc Godard's iconic 1960 masterpiece "À bout de souffle" (Breathless). This groundbreaking French New Wave film revolutionized moviemaking with its innovative jump cuts, handheld camera work, and spontaneous style.
The screening features English subtitles, making Godard's stylistic innovations accessible to all viewers. Following the film, a Georgetown University film professor will lead a discussion exploring the movie's lasting impact on cinema and its place in the French New Wave movement.
