Join artist Paloma Vianey for an engaging watercolor workshop at the Mexican Cultural Institute. Inspired by her current exhibition, this session introduces color theory and monochromatic painting techniques, exploring how color can evoke memory, place, and emotion.
Participants will draw inspiration from the artist's exploration of visual connections between Ciudad Juárez and Washington, DC. You'll create your own pair of monochromatic diptychs based on personal meaningful places, memories, or landscapes, while learning the fundamentals of watercolor painting. No prior experience is necessary, and all art supplies will be provided.
The workshop is conducted in English. Tickets are required for this event.
