The Mexican Cultural Institute presents "Un Mismo Cielo: Entre Washington y Ciudad Juárez" (The Same Sky: Between Washington and Ciudad Juárez), an exhibition by Mexican artist Paloma Vianey. This compelling collection explores the profound connections that exist across borders, bringing together landscapes from both cities through eight striking diptychs.
Paloma Vianey is an interdisciplinary artist from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, with a rich background in art history and fine arts. Her work has been recognized with grants from prestigious organizations like the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and the National Fund of the Arts in Mexico. Vianey's impressive portfolio includes a large-scale public art installation on the U.S.-Mexico border and residencies at institutions such as the Antonio Gala Foundation in Spain. Her art has been exhibited internationally at numerous galleries and museums.
