About

The Mexican Cultural Institute invites you to "Keeping Our Roots Alive: Indigenous Communities in the Diaspora," an afternoon dedicated to dialogue and reflection. This special program explores the experiences, resilience, and cultural richness of Indigenous communities living beyond their ancestral territories.

Held in the framework of the IX Inter-American Week for Indigenous Peoples of the Organization of American States (OAS), this event will delve into the importance of preserving Indigenous languages, traditions, knowledge systems, and cultural identity across borders. It also aims to foster dialogue on the contemporary realities faced by Indigenous peoples throughout the Americas.
