A true sign of spring in the District, the DC Chocolate Festival brings together chocolate makers, chocolatiers, cacao experts, and chocolate lovers for a weekend dedicated to tasting, learning, and celebrating fine chocolate. This year marks the 9th edition of this beloved event, spanning one and a half days of chocolate education and indulgence.
The festival takes place at La Maison Française, whose gorgeous light-filled event venue provides the perfect setting to sample exceptional craft chocolate, discover new makers, and explore the stories behind the world's favorite treat. Attendees can enjoy generous sampling from outstanding local and international chocolate makers, educational micro-workshops and tasting sessions, and conversations with makers about sourcing, craft, and flavor.
New for 2026, the Friday evening session features a special HCP (Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund) Award Ceremony celebrating excellence in cacao and spotlighting efforts dedicated to cacao preservation and the future of fine chocolate. Whether you're a casual chocolate enthusiast or a devoted craft chocolate fan, the festival offers a rich and immersive tasting experience with incredible chocolate confections, treats, beverages, and craft chocolate bars.
Friday Night tickets (Age 10+) run from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM for $25.00 and include full vendor access plus the special HCP ceremony. Visit dcchocolatefestival.com for updated details, as new vendors and workshops continue to be added throughout March and April.
