About

The event features Dr. Ali Akaak, a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Arizona and Assistant Professor of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Oman. Dr. Akaak's research focuses on positioning Oman as a long-haul destination in the U.S. travel market. His presentation will cover Oman's cultural heritage, regional diversity, sustainable tourism vision, and the more than 190-year-old friendship between Oman and the United States.
